You stopped drinking.
Now build what comes next.
A private community for men and women who are 6+ months alcohol-free and want connection, community and collaboration around them.
Stopping drinking can change your friendships, your social life, your routines and even how you see yourself. REDEFINE is for the stage when alcohol is no longer the whole story, but you are still asking what the next part of life is meant to look like.

Maybe what you miss is not drinking. Maybe it is your people.
You can be proud of stopping and still feel like something has gone missing.
- Your old social life no longer fits in quite the same way.
- Some friendships changed when drinking stopped being the default.
- The early excitement of being alcohol-free has settled down.
- You are no longer focused on getting through another sober weekend.
- You are asking bigger questions about identity, purpose, relationships and what you want to build.
- You want people around you who understand the change without making alcohol the centre of every conversation.
One fixed night. A community you can actually rely on.
Every Tuesday at 8:00pm UK, members come together on Google Meet. You do not need to book every week. You know the room is there.
Fifth Tuesday? We keep it open for a member-led conversation, open room or something the community wants to create.
This is more than access to a Facebook group.
Facebook is the conversation layer. The value is the rhythm, the people, the shared experiences and the things that begin to happen because members know one another.
Tuesday community room
One live member session every Tuesday at 8pm UK, with a clear monthly rhythm.
Guest sessions
People with useful experience across health, movement, neurodiversity, work, purpose, creativity and life after alcohol.
The Eight Standards
Nutrition, movement, hydration, sleep, quiet time, appearance, connection and alcohol removed. Not perfection. Standards you come back to.
Run & Walk
Find people nearby, train for something, arrange a walk, enter an event or simply move more with others around you.
Live member calendar
Your calendar is shared privately to your member email so Tuesday sessions and future updates stay easy to see.
Meet in real life
Four planned UK meet-ups each year so online relationships have the chance to become real ones.
You should never join and wonder what happens next.
The first year already has a visible rhythm. Topics can evolve with the members, but the community does not start as an empty room.
Welcome: Find Your People Again
The first REDEFINE community night and the start of the founding experience.
Who Are My People Now?
What happens socially when you change and the people around you do not necessarily change with you.
The Eight Standards Baseline
Where are the basics strong and where have they drifted?
Guest: What Becomes Possible After Alcohol
A guest-led conversation about the life that can open up after alcohol stops being the centre of it.
Four UK meet-ups are already in the diary
London
Bristol
Leeds
Birmingham
Meet-up access is part of the community. Travel, food, accommodation and optional activities are paid separately by members. Exact venues are confirmed nearer each date.
I thought stopping drinking might make my life smaller.
When I stopped drinking in June 2016, I had only committed to 90 days. What surprised me was not just what disappeared when alcohol did. It was what arrived because I started meeting different people and putting myself in different rooms.
Community changed the direction of my life. Through the people I met after stopping, I eventually met Claire. That chain of events led to marriage, twin daughters, writing my book, building my work, joining a triathlon team, running a marathon and creating a life I could not have seen from the pub.
REDEFINE is my attempt to build that kind of room deliberately. A place where people know one another, contribute, create things and help each other keep moving forward.
You are not joining to sit quietly and consume content.
Members are encouraged to create things, start useful conversations and bring something to the room.
- Start a conversation.
- Suggest a walk, run, challenge or local coffee.
- Share what you are building.
- Ask for help when you need it.
- Offer useful experience when it can genuinely help someone else.
- Bring an idea forward instead of waiting for Karl to create everything.
Expertise is welcome. Prospecting is not. The member list is not a lead list and unsolicited sales DMs are not part of REDEFINE.
REDEFINE starts after the first part of the story.
This is a strong fit if:
- You are at least 6 months alcohol-free.
- You are functioning, living your life and no longer looking for early sobriety support.
- You want more connection, friendship, purpose, activity or collaboration around you.
- You are willing to contribute as well as consume.
- You want alcohol-free life to become part of your story, not the only thing you talk about.
This is not:
- Detox, withdrawal support or medical care.
- Early sobriety or relapse-prevention support.
- Therapy, counselling or crisis support.
- Unlimited private coaching with Karl.
- A sales or networking group built around pitching members.
After three months, you should be able to name five people here you genuinely know.
Not five profile pictures. Five people you have spoken with, learned about, supported, met or built something alongside.
That is the standard. REDEFINE should feel useful enough, human enough and connected enough that you would notice if it disappeared.

Frequently asked questions
Why do I need to be 6+ months alcohol-free?
REDEFINE is deliberately built for life after the earliest stage of stopping. It is not detox, relapse prevention or early sobriety support. The main conversation here is what you are building next.
I have been alcohol-free for years. Is this still for me?
Yes, if you still want community, new relationships, shared activity and a place to contribute. The strongest immediate need may often be around 6 to 24 months, but long-term alcohol-free members can add huge value to the room.
Is this just a Facebook group?
No. Facebook is the day-to-day conversation layer. The membership also includes the Tuesday live room, guest sessions, the Eight Standards, member-led activity, the private calendar and quarterly meet-ups.
Do I have to speak on the Tuesday calls?
No. You can talk, listen, ask questions or simply be there. Camera on or off is your choice. The aim is to make connection possible, not force participation.
Can I cancel during the free trial?
Yes. Cancel before the end of the 28-day trial and you will not be charged. If you stay, the membership moves to £49 per month automatically from day 29.
Can I cancel after I become a paying member?
Yes. You can manage your billing and cancel through Stripe's secure Customer Portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period.
Are the quarterly meet-ups included in the £49?
Your access to the member meet-ups is included. Travel, accommodation, food and optional paid activities are your own cost.
What if I need therapy, medical or crisis support?
REDEFINE is not medical, psychological or emergency care. If you need professional or urgent support, use the appropriate healthcare or emergency service rather than relying on the community.
